Freelance Graphic Designer

October 2024 to Current

  • Producing high-quality resources to communicate about funding projects;

    organising assets, files, and my own time.

  • Using Canva, Procreate and photography to design resources, following

    copyright guidelines and learning new skills to improve my work.

  • Researching brand guidelines, design principles and industry standard to

    create cohesive and effective branding and marketing.

  • Working with the client to ensure they are happy with the product,

    building on their requests and improving relationships.

  • Ensuring the documents are print ready, processing the order with print

    companies and passing on the relevant information to the client.

Intern and Office Cover Chelmsley Wood Baptist Church, Solihull

October 2024 to October 2025, Office Cover ongoing

  • Took part in team meetings and assisted team members with work, including

    writing funding applications.

  • Spent time collating and editing several different projects such as booklets,

    books and a treasure hunt to share stories with the local community.

  • Assisted with the running of groups, including those with adults with learning

    disabilities, fostering relationships with the users of the community centre.

  • Used Word, Procreate, Canva, photography and physical media to represent

    the brand creating my own elements (photos, drawings, etc.) where necessary.

  • Opened up the building and manned the office, greeting and assisting those

    using the centre, handling bookings, emails, and phone calls.

Intern Lodge Road Church Centre URC, Winson Green

November 2025 to May 2026

  • Helped run an after-school club, following safeguarding policies whilst

    providing a safe space for children to be themselves.

  • Engaged with the local community, building relationships and listening

    empathetically to vulnerable people’s stories from diverse backgrounds.

  • Creative work involving blacksmithing; analysing a finished piece and

    finding resourceful ways to make it whilst remaining safe.

  • Organised and facilitated groups teaching new music skills to adults with

    a range of barriers to learning, adapting material when necessary.
