Work Experience

THE BODY SHOP - GLOBAL SUPPLY PLANNER. MARCH 2025 - PRESENT

  • Manage the purchasing of finished goods inventory from designated suppliers,

    balancing customer demand with financial targets and inventory budgets.

  • Execute end-to-end supply planning activities, including inventory, production, and

    material planning, to maintain optimal stock levels across the product portfolio.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure

    on-time, in-full delivery and improved lead times.

  • Monitor supplier performance to drive supply chain efficiency and maximize stock

    turnover.

  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month supply forecast, proactively mitigating

    potential stock shortages while supporting sales growth.

  • Analyse supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process

    improvements, presenting insights to management for strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development,

  • Finance, and Operations to support product launches and mitigate supply chain risks.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes to

    enhance supply chain performance and operational efficiency.

SANDPIPERCI BUYING ASSISTANT — SEPTEMBER 2023- JANUARY 2025.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Working alongside suppliers, building and nurturing meaningful and beneficial

    relationships. Proactively engaging with multiple different supplier processes

    including varying order dates, MOVs and ordering systems.

  • Keeping in close communication with suppliers to ensure all product data,

    costings and information is regularly kept up to date and accurate. When

    required, negotiation with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing where

    applicable. Maintaining an eye for detail to minimise and data discrepancies.

  • Stock management; monitoring both store and warehouse stock levels, working

    against a range of KPIs to ensure continue stock availability. Overcoming any

    logistical issues such as weather impacts to continue smooth stock flow.

  • Following market trends, making product and route-to-market suggestions

    where applicable to assist the buyer in an up-to-date range against competitors.

  • Using WIGIG products source at competitive costs from grey market suppliers

    to diversify product range. Producing and processing invoices swiftly and withaccuracy, highlighting any invoice discrepancies and resolving using critical

    problem solving skills.

  • Using Microsoft systems, specifically excel proficiently to manipulate and

    present raw and analysed data. Using findings from such data to make informed

    ranging and pricing decisions, ensuring accuracy and following GDPR processes

    where required.

  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism in both phone, email and in person

    nature to provide the highest level of customer service to all those interacted

    with.

ADMINISTRATOR & RECEPTIONIST, ASHBOURNE ESTATE AGENTS PORTSMOUTH — 2022-2023

Working part-time alongside university studies, where role included but not limited to;
